Site Tours, Activities, Team Building Exercises & Training

These can be arranged through the office and are subject to availability.

The following examples do not form an exhaustive list and bespoke arrangements are readily available upon request, although we would recommend you give our staff at least 2 weeks notice.

Transport arrangements to and from site are also available at cost upon request. Lunch can be provided from a local catering company at a cost of £4.95 per head, and £1.50 for refreshments.

Children on site

1 hour complete site tour
Up to 15 people - £5 per person with a minimum charge of £60
15-30 people - £4 per person beyond the first 15 participants

1 hour complete site tour with activity
Up to 15 people - £15 per person with a minimum charge of £180
15-30 people - £14 per person beyond the first 15 participants
Examples of activities can include such things as, Plant propagation eg. seed sowing or cuttings in which participants are encouraged to take home examples of their handiwork. Container gardening - growing fruit or vegetables in containers, again participants are encouraged to take home their handiwork, and Eco-construction techniques such as Cob fire bricks and saw mill planking.

School Visits and activities
Tour and Activity - 2 hrs - Cost £160 (maximum participants 30)
Discover the links between biodiversity, energy, food and climate change. Use your senses to discover our living world, smell the flowers and taste them too! Find out where your food comes from and why our bees are so important. Why not extend your visit and bring a picnic to eat on site - cost additional £40.

Full day corporate social responsibility or team building exercises
Up to 15 people - £35 per person with a minimum charge of £420
15-30 people - £33 per person beyond the first 15 participants
Examples of team building exercises can include; - Tree planting on new and existing local woodland sites - An introduction to Permaculture, using the principles practised here on site we can help an organisation or individual design their operation, home or workplace to be more ethical, energy saving, and healthy - Beekeeping, spend a day learning about the fascinating world of honey
bees and build your own hive starter kit.

Full day training workshops

The following workshops are delivered by highly experienced and knowledgeable local practitioners:
Green wood working
Dry stone walling
Hurdle making
Willow weaving
Wood carving
Earth oven making
Bee hive nucleus manufacture
Maximum participant numbers 8 - £500 including all materials and certificate of completion
